ACCOUNT

Account & Subscriptions

Handle account creation, subscription access, device migration, and account security. A subscription link is a connection credential; get it from the user panel and store it securely.

Do I need an email address to create a ZJVPN account?

No. ZJVPN does not require an email address; you can create an account with a username and password. Keep both details stored locally so you can identify the original account after changing browsers or devices. Do not save your password in public documents or on a device shared with others.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I sync updates to the client?

After signing in to the user panel, open Overview or the client section to get the subscription for your current account. Then use Update Subscription or Refresh Configuration in the client. Confirm that you are signed in to the original account before updating. If the server list does not change, close and reopen the client, then refresh the subscription once more. Get subscription details through the user panel and never share the link publicly.

Do I need to buy another plan when I switch devices?

No. Switching devices does not require another purchase. ZJVPN supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so sign in to the same account on the new device and get the client and subscription for that platform from the user panel. Before migrating, confirm the username saved on the old device; after importing on the new device, check that the server list is complete.

Which operating systems does ZJVPN support?

Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. The client entry is available in the user panel; after signing in, follow the instructions for your operating system. Permission names and import screens may differ, but the core process is the same: get the client, import the subscription, choose a server, connect, and verify the exit connection.

How can I reduce the risk of someone else using my account or subscription?

Set a unique password for your account and save it only on your own devices. A subscription link functions like a connection credential, so do not post it in chat groups, screenshots, public notes, or code repositories. If you notice unexpected changes to the server configuration, change your account password first, then get a new subscription from the user panel and delete old configurations from unknown sources in the client.

CONNECTION

Connections & Troubleshooting

Confirm that the local network works first, then check system permissions, subscription status, and the scope of client control. Do not run multiple network-control tools at the same time during troubleshooting.

What should I check first when the client cannot connect at all?

Disconnect ZJVPN first and confirm that your current network can open ordinary websites. Then check that the system clock is accurate and that the client has the system permissions required to establish a VPN connection. Update the subscription and test another server. If no server connects, try a different local network to determine whether the issue is with the network or the client configuration.

It says connected, but websites still will not open. What should I do?

Open a familiar website in another browser to see whether the issue is limited to the current browser. If no websites are accessible, disconnect, choose another server, quit the client, and reopen it. If the problem persists, check whether other network filters, proxies, or security tools are running at the same time, as multiple tools may try to control the network configuration.

Why is a particular app not using the proxy?

A common cause is that the client is in split-tunneling mode and the app's domain or connection does not match the current rules. Switch temporarily to a more comprehensive connection mode for comparison. If the app works afterward, the issue is likely in the split-tunneling rules. Update the subscription and rules, then restart the app so it does not keep using an old session.

What should I do if a subscription update fails or reports a format error?

First confirm that the subscription came from the user panel for your current account, and check that no spaces, line breaks, or extra characters were added while copying it. Do not edit the subscription manually. Delete the failed subscription record from the client, then get and import it again from the user panel. If the user panel opens in a browser but the client still cannot update, submit a ticket with the client name, operating system, and complete error message.

What should I do if my mobile connection drops frequently after the app goes into the background?

Check whether the system restricts the client's background activity, network access, or battery use, and allow it to maintain the connection after the screen locks. Some systems stop background network tasks in power-saving mode, so add the ZJVPN client to the unrestricted apps list. Reconnect after changing the setting, then test again by locking the screen and switching between apps.

ROUTING

Speed & Servers

Speed is affected by the local access network, target service, server choice, and background tasks. For comparison tests, keep the device, network, and target content consistent.

How do I choose the right server?

Start with a server at a reasonable distance from the region where the target service is located; a popular region name is not always the best choice. For work, websites, and AI Tools, test connection setup time and the stability of repeated requests. For Streaming, confirm that the target content plays normally. Choose a different server when your use case changes rather than staying on one server permanently.

How should I troubleshoot slow speeds or stuttering during peak hours?

Pause local downloads, cloud synchronization, and system updates first to make sure other tasks on the same network are not using the bandwidth. Then test servers in different regions on the same network and compare page-loading and continuous playback performance. If only a few servers are slow, switch servers. If all servers slow down at once, test another local network to determine whether the access network is congested.

What should I do if Streaming buffers or video quality drops?

Make sure the player is not downloading other content in the background, and stop synchronization tasks that use bandwidth. Switch to a server matching the region of the target content, then fully quit and reopen the player so it creates a new connection. If playback works on the website but not in the app, check whether the split-tunneling rules cover the service, clear the player's cache, and test again.

What should I do if an AI Tool responds unreliably after opening?

AI Tools often maintain ongoing requests, so a brief connection does not guarantee a stable session. Switch servers and reload the page so an old connection is not reused. Then check that browser extensions, split-tunneling rules, and local security tools are not blocking the relevant domains. If only one tool is affected, use the same server to access other international websites for comparison and include the results in your ticket.

How broad is the server coverage?

ZJVPN covers 90+ countries / 200+ servers. The server list is organized by region and use case, so consider the target service, your current access network, and real-world stability when choosing. The coverage figure describes the available range and does not mean every server suits every situation. When access problems occur, update the subscription and try another server in the same region to make diagnosis easier.

BILLING

Billing & Refunds

Monthly subscriptions reset data on the activation date; data packages remain available until used and never expire. Before paying, verify the account, plan name, and checkout amount.

What monthly subscription tiers are available, and when does data reset?

Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose based on your actual use of websites, Streaming, file transfers, and other services rather than comparing only the total allowance. If your usage changes, check the current plan status in the user panel.

What data packages are available, and do they expire?

Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for irregular usage or anyone who does not want a monthly reset. Data packages and monthly subscriptions use different billing models, so decide whether you prefer a fixed monthly allowance or a total allowance kept for long-term use.

How is a mid-cycle upgrade for a monthly subscription calculated?

For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated into the remaining days. Before proceeding, confirm the current plan, remaining status, and target tier in the user panel, then submit the upgrade so it is not confused with choosing a new plan. After completion, return to Overview to check the plan display and update the subscription in the client so the account status matches the local configuration.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. The checkout page in the user panel shows the available methods. Before paying, verify the plan name, amount, and account. If the page status does not update after payment, do not submit the same order again. Keep the order details and payment record, then submit a ticket through the user panel.

How do I request a refund?

ZJVPN offers a 14-day, no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the account used to purchase the plan, open the ticket page in the user panel, describe the refund request, and include the relevant order details. Do not delete the order record before submitting. If the page status has not synchronized, attach the payment record as well so the order can be verified.
